Counselling and Therapy in Godalming, Guildford and surrounding areas
Hello. My name is Maria Midson, I am a qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work face to face with individuals aged 18 and over and provide either short or long term counselling in Guildford, Godalming and surrounding areas. Also, I offer 'Walk and Talk' therapy within the beautiful countryside of Surrey and Telephone Counselling.
At some stage in our lives, we all experience difficulties with life, relationships or work. We may cope or survive by keeping busy, numbing ourselves, using distraction or avoiding our troubling thoughts and feelings. If not dealt with, these strategies can leave us feeling anxious, stressed, lonely, depressed and disconnected. Friends and family can help but there are times when these feelings do not go away, or they become so overwhelming, we struggle to cope. This is when professional counselling can help.
